Greetings from Dyersville, and New York!!

I apologize for being a little late with my blog. February has been a busy month. I just returned from New York City where I attended the 2019 Toy Fair at the Jacob K. Javits Center. 2019 marks the 116th year of the show and over 30,000 people annually attend. I’ve been attending this show for years as we display many of our new items for the upcoming year. We showcased many of our new products. The picture below gives you an idea of our displays.

February was also busy in the world of tractors. Case IH finally announced their new 2020 Magnum tractors on February 13th. We’ve been working with Case IH for almost a year to have our replicas ready for the big announcement and have product at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY. In addition to the 1:64th model (Stock # 44172) we also introduced 1:32nd models with unique paint options. Case IH dealers can order stock # 44155. This item includes one each of a “normal” red paint scheme, “silver” chrome paint scheme and a “black” chrome paint scheme. Both of these models are limited in quantities and will only be produced once. As of this blog we are already sold out of the 1:64th model and over two thirds of the 1:32nd model are already pre-sold.

I also don’t want to forget about the New Holland Winter Farm Show unit. (Stock # 13934). New Holland also introduced some changes to their T8 series tractors. We produced a 1:64th New Holland T8.435 model. This tractor has some limited edition “Chase” units included in the production run.

If you’re a 4WD lover, we also have the Versatile 1:32nd scale 570 model in our warehouse. (Stock # 16383). I love the looks of this tractor, especially with their new paint scheme that is half new, half retro, but all cool!!

In addition we just recently announced our last Precision Elite tractor as the Farmall 766 tractor. (Stock # 44149) This is the last tractor in our Precision Elite series. In case you haven’t heard, this tractor will be offered with both paint schemes. The early tractors had a “white stripe” paint scheme while the later models had a “black stripe” paint scheme. More to come on this.

Many of you are also asking for an update on our 1:16th John Deere die cast combine. We are happy to announce that we are moving forward with the project. Thank you to all the collectors and John Deere Dealerships who helped make this possible by placing pre-orders.

I have some more great news to tell you about some upcoming projects, but I’ll leave that for my next blog. Stay warm and don’t let the “polar vortex” get you.
