HISTORY
With a design that resonated with buyers, Datsun helped expand the Japanese pickup segment in the American market. Introduced in 1979, the 720 model attracted attention with its square, modern styling and the availability of a 4WD option. It remains highly regarded by enthusiasts today. Later models from 1983 onward featured an enlarged grille and repositioned taillights, aligning the design with Nissan passenger cars of the same era.
