Philanthropy & Community

TOMY Community Logo

TOMY employees are passionate about bringing smiles to peoples’ faces, both through our products and through philanthropy. TOMY Community is an employee driven effort that supports various charitable organizations. These can be national in scope, but there is a focus on those that are local to each of our different offices. This allows us to engage in volunteerism in our own communities while also establishing stronger cross-team bonds. Getting to personally see the smiles we are helping create is just icing on the cake.

Team Jack Foundation Logo

Fat Brain Toys supports the Team Jack Foundation through both monetary donations and employee volunteer opportunities. Team Jack brings hope to families fighting childhood brain cancer, with a mission to fund impactful research and raise awareness of the disease. The Fat Brain mission to provide "A Smarter Way to Play" seeks to strengthen children, and any disease that compromises a child's ability to grow, learn, and live impacts us deeply. Partnering with Team Jack is a natural fit.

Training our workforce on the importance of DEI in the workplace is a primary initiative for us and we use a variety of resources, such as Paradigm Reach, to keep employees engaged and aware of the progress we’ve made as we work towards the future we aspire to become part of.

TOMY believes that play is an essential part of growing and learning for all children and aspires to develop toy lines that both aid and represent each of them. Our Fat Brain Toys' site features curated lists for children with different disabilities, and we are happy to offer toys that represent all children.

Bebé Fuerte

TOMY partnered with VP of Fitness Programming and Head Instructor at Peloton, Robin Arzόn to create a new infant toy collection. Featuring fresh colors and patterns inspired by Robin’s LatinX heritage, the collection encourages families to move together and highlights messages of encouragement in Spanish on both product and packaging.

YumiAmi shares the stories of 5 young friends learning about how to deal with their feelings and embracing each other’s differences as they do so. This line of soft dolls celebrates diversity, inclusion, empowerment, and friendship; all of which are explored in the companion story books sharing each friend’s culture and talents.

A Little Spot

Inspired by artist and author Diane Alber’s characters, our “Little Spot” line helps children identify and talk about their emotions. Combining identification of feelings with sensory play, the line is designed to make Social Emotional Learning a bit easier for parents while adding fun for children.
